TECH CHAIR VACCA TO HOLD PRELIMINARY BUDGET HEARING
Link NYC & other DoITT budget priorities to be discussed

New York, NY – On Tuesday, March 29th, Council Member James Vacca, Chair of the New York City Council Committee on Technology, will hold a joint Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) Preliminary Budget hearing for the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) with the Committee on Land Use, chaired by Council Member David Greenfield.

The Committees will examine various budget elements for FY 2017, which will include revenue projections from the Link NYC rollout, a reevaluation of cyber security funding, and an overview of the project to enhance the 911 call system (ECTP). There will also be details released on updated staffing figures for the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) & the Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics (MODA).
